Got through two full days before someone hit my car with a door or something in the college parking lot and dented it again. I think I hate people.

Haha, I wish, I just had my car repainted, massaged and straightened. Fortunately paint didn't come off and it will buff out.

Fortunately, no one in the Family is careless about that back at home... At college though, it's a completely diferente story. My colleagues are about the shittiest drivers I know, and to top it off, I don't have a garage at home, so I have to rent a spot at one where they pile cars up and keep the Keys to maneuver them in and out along the day. That's where most of the dings and scratches come from...

Protip: Since it happened before, and will happen again (from experience in a northeastern Urban-based school), because college....

Save your money and get the repainting done when you're as far from the campus as possible. It's like people that wash their cars in the middle of winter, with a blizzard in the forecast. Then get pissed when it's covered in salt and grime 4 days later.

I may be a defeatist, and I'm sometimes wrong about stuff, but you'll spend more every time getting the paint redone than getting it all done at once.

I didn't have much of a choice this time... A drunk asshole lobbed a brick at my car's left rear quarter panel, leaving a massive dent, so I had him pay for the bodywork. All of it, not just the dent he caused. I had every single panel straightened, smoothened, primed, painted, buffed and polished at no cost. For me at least.
